Fingerprints (Toma de Huellas)

The biometric registration process (fingerprints) is required for obtaining or renewing a TIE in Spain. It takes place at the National Police Station (Comisaría de Policía) after receiving a favorable resolution or a visa from the immigration office. During this appointment, fingerprints and a photograph are taken for the residence card.
