Larga Duración (Long Term Residence Permit)

The long-term residence permit allows you to live and work in Spain indefinitely, after legally residing in the country for 5 years (time on a student visa counts as half). It’s renewed every 5 years with a simple fingerprint appointment (there’s no need to submit any documents to the immigration office for the renewal).
