Extranjería

Extranjería (foreign office) refers to the branch of the Spanish public administration responsible for all immigration-related matters. It manages procedures such as residence permits, TIE cards, work authorizations, EU family member cards, nationality processes, and legal documentation for foreigners living in Spain. It includes both immigration offices and police departments that handle foreign nationals’ documents.
