Autorización de Regreso

Autorización de regreso is a document that is only issued to non-EU citizens who need to travel outside the Schengen zone and return to Spain with an expired TIE or without a TIE because it has not been picked up yet. This document is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance at the police station and it only allows re-entry to Spain, not to other Schengen countries. Upon returning to Spain, you must present it at the border along with your passport and, depending on your situation, your expired TIE card, proof of your fingerprint appointment or Confirmation of your residence or stay renewal in Spain
